I'm a feral cat druid and I just picked up a new weapon. I've always tended to go for Berserking, but I've seen other people use Mongoose. As I already have pretty high crit, I'm not terribly worried about getting more agility (I tend to go for ArP these days), but I'm still not sure whether Berserking or Mongoose is the better choice.

Berserking is the better choice for pure DPS by a mile. Many ferals use the same weapon to DPS and to tank however, and Mongoose is, in addition to being the best Tanking enchant available, a pretty damned good DPS enchant - so if you don't have two weapons, and you tank often enough, it might just be the more useful pick.

The answer depends on your other stats. If u are over 10000 ap buffed, then berserker's addition attack power is not as beneficial as mongooses agility. The reverse is also correct, if you are under 10000 ap, Berserk will give you better value.
Another thing which gives Mongoose a little edge at high lvl gear is the attack speed increase. This will increase dps since melee damage is about 30% of our damage. The value of haste increases if you have high arpen.

Would you perhaps have a link for this information? I'm not doubting what you say, but I would love to read aobut it, as I'm also pondering the question of enchants. – Fiyeri
