Edit: the addon in question is tChat from Tukui, not Tekkub. Tukui is a minimalistic lightweight UI replacement and there is no config gui, or even /slash command. It has to be edited in the tchat.lua file.

I recently discovered Tekkub's addons at this Epic Advice thread and from a new UI I downloaded and customized, however I can't seem to find an in-game config menu or /slash command for any of them.

I'm specifically trying to change the default size and font size of the chat box, which tekchat addon appears to automatically revert to a tiny little box, but config for the others would be nice too.

I've found several Tekkub sites - Tekkub, Github, Tek on Wowinterface - but no luck on finding the /slash command or how to open the config menu.

I know this may not be the right kind of question for Epic Advice, but I've searched and the answer eludes me. Hoping someone more familiar with these addons will know. Thanks!

Looking at the compilation you linked, it appears that you are not using Tekchat, but tchat, which is most likely another addon entirely. I would suggest contacting the person who created the compilation you are using to discover which addon he is using or whether it is a personalized, non-distributed addon. Most likely, it is the latter, and will require you to configure any changes through the .lua files.

However, if you were using a Tekkub addon, I would advise you to:

1) Check the in-game addon control panel provided by Blizzard. If Tekkub has included a GUI it is often found here.

2) /command (name of addon). Generally Tekkub's addons can be accessed this way if they have an in-game panel (/panda for example.)

3) If you are unable to access any type of menu using the steps above, then the addon likely requires you to make any adjustments in the .lua file for the particular addon.

Thanks, you're right, tchat is from Tukui, not Tekkub. Adding an edit to clarify that. – Nightfreeze Dec 1 at 19:04
