Northern Cooking quest

There are four quests, two for each faction, depending on which zone you decided to go to first, it's entirely possible you did the quest and tossed the recipe on accident. If you're not sure if you did the quest, check in Valgarde/Valiance Keep for Alliance or Warsong Hold/Vengeance Landing for the Horde. (Hint: use low-level quest tracking) If the quest isn't available, then you may have to put in a GM ticket to get the recipe restored to you.

Edit: I double checked and the recipe is automatically learned when you complete the quest. Are you sure you actually did the quest since you would not have been able to even get the quest if you didn't have 350 cooking.

The quest rewards you with the ability to cook Northern Stew (no recipe item involved), so if you can't get the quest Northern Cooking from Rollick MacKreel in Valiance Keep or Brom Brewbaster at Valgarde, then there is a problem. I would recommend:

• Log in with no addons enabled, to make sure you cannot make Northern Stew.
• If you still don't know how to make it, page a GM and describe the situation. GM's can see what quests you have completed, so a GM should be able to resolve the situation.
• Alternatively, wait until 3.3, or log into the PTR, when there will be a way for AddOns to check which quests you've completed. You could get such an AddOn and check for yourself.

Others on Wowhead have reported having this problem at 80, so it can happen. Good luck!
