The transit time between each end is 60 seconds and remains at each stop for 12 seconds.

Assuming the two trams are exactly out of phase, tram A will be leaving Ironforge just as tram B is leaving Stormwind. Therefore you should have a 60-second wait if you just miss the tram, followed by 12 seconds of sitting on the tram at the station.
