Questions:

• Will Dualwielding resto shamans be viable in cataclysm?
• Are shamans close to perfected since the entirety of Wrath class changes seem to have passed by the restoration tree?
• Do the announced resto tree and new spells fit in with this perfectedness since they don't herald a new playstyle, aside from the possibility of DWing resto shamans?
• How viable is healing as elemental when leveling?
• What stats should I focus on as a newly dinged 80 resto shaman?
• What do you feel will be the impact of the haste mechanic on hots in cataclysm?
• How neccesary are resto shamans in ICC 10/25 HC fights?

Some more questions:

• Do you feel it's ok for enhancement shamans to be so geardependant? Skills > gear in most cases but it does seem as if the reverse is true for enhancement.

• Does the elemental priority queue/dps rotation feel boring to most people (FS, LvB, LB, LB, LB,...) and are there any suggestions as to how to spice it up a bit?

• When leveling as elemental, it seems that the shaman class has a lot of utility to keep itself entertained and alive when pulling loads of mobs, but that kind of drops of as you start doing heroics where all this utility gets taken care of by party members. Do shamans need some more utility?

Given some of you guys will be in the Cataclysm Beta, how will you go about testing the Shaman class and making sure we are the best we can possibly be?

What sort of things will you be doing, testing? End game, levelling? What will you look for?

• how do you feel about being asked to join raids and pugs purely because you bring heroism/bloodlust? It seems to be that shamans, although they can be great healers, are really only one trick ponies that will no longer be needed in cataclysm once mages get heroism/bloodlust.

Elemental Shaman Question:

• We've been called turrets (and for good reason). Forced raid movement tends to mess up our rotations and ability dps more so then compared to other classes. Blizzard seems to be helping us out a bit with our new "casting on the move" ability. But what else can we do as ranged dps to stay competitive on the dps meters in movement heavy fights in wrath and the upcoming cataclysm raids?

Do you think a mage vs. shaman rivalry will start with the new shared Heroism/Bloodlust? Why do you think Blizzard created a new class instead of letting Shaman have a tanking tree? What is a shaman's favorite beer? Is there an IPA totem?

Questions about the enhancement mastery in cataclysm being +nature dmg. 1. Is that an attempt to simplify our prio list by removing fire spells? 2. Our maelstrom proc instant heals would suffer. Is that a necessary sacrifice to give us better (more reliable) defensive cooldowns?

Totems are currently quite uninteresting and a chore to manage. It feels mostly like carrying a bunch of drums, weaker versions of other classes' buffs. I know you aren't designing the game, but do you know of any changes to the totem system in the beta?

can you test out enhancement unleash weapon frostband effect? what happens when the target already has frost shock on it, how much of a snare effect? does the frost damage from unleash weapon do more damage when the target has a snare on it already?

What are the pannels reactions to the newly released talent tree changes? Trimming ES, Lava lash, DW and thunderstorm from the talenttrees will obviously help out with trimming down the trees. Any other possible must have/stay away talents that might get axed?
