Is there a way for me to avoid Cataclysm spoilers on this site?

I've seen a few questions come past involving Cataclysm. While I'm interested in changes to class mechanics etc, I really really want to have anything to do with storyline, lore, leveling etc stay fresh for when I finally play the expansion.

Is there some way I can filter the questions (plus blurby bit) that appear on the front page to avoid anything remotely spoiler-y? Or do I just have to avoid the site until the expansion comes out? :(

You all get up-votes. Great method to hide Cataclysm spoilers. – ♦♦Jesta (Jul 11 2010 12:26 AM)

Turned Community Wiki -- Questions about epicadvice itself should be CW. – ♦♦gnarf (Jul 12 2010 10:44 PM)

As a side note, I'm actually finding this a great place to ask questions I daren't try to read up on elsewhere! – Ecogirl (Jul 22 2010 2:47 PM)

On the homepage, on the left sidebar, there is an 'ignored tags' feature. Entering 'Cataclysm' as a tag into that feature will cause all Cataclysm-tagged content -- which should be the majority of anything spoilery -- will be 'greyed out' in your view. It's not perfect, since those posts appear to still be visible, but maybe it will help with not accidentally selecting something that's Cataclysm related.

This will grey out ALL Cataclysm posts, to avoid ones that are specifically story related I would suggest also ignoring Lore, it will make posts with both as dark as possible – Woldo (Jul 10 2010 2:46 PM)

Also voted up for giving the 'ignored tags' location – Ecogirl (Jul 10 2010 8:04 PM)

My suggestion...

Add [spoiler] to your ignored tags.

I am changing the css right now to actually HIDE questions on your ignored (rather than just grey them out)

To the general users of the site: If you see something that looks spoilery - please add the tag.

I've taken the liberty of retagging 2 spoiler-y questions (with my eyes closed!) and it seems to be working :D – Ecogirl (Jul 10 2010 8:10 PM)
