How do I get rid of the RealID chat interface?

Is there a way to delete the RealID chat from my interface?

I don't use it and it bothers my every time I see it. Is there some interface option to hide it or will i have to deal with it?

Yes. Just disable it using Parental Controls.

How to do so:

Go to battle.net and log in. Click on Parental Controls, and set up Parental Controls for your account. You can use the same email address for both the "parent" and "child" if you wish, for convenience's sake.
Once set, log in to your email, click the Parental Controls link in the Blizzard email (do make sure it IS a link leading to battle.net and not some enterprising phisher) and you will be led to the Parental Controls set up page.
By default, Real ID will be disabled on that page. Let it stay disabled and click Save Settings.

When you next log in to WoW (give or take 30 minutes), Real ID functionality and all its visual trappings should be completely gone.
