Healing paladin gem choice

BRilliant kings amber thats all u need on a holy paladin everything else u get from gear and it depends of what ur spec as either a holy light spamer and fol spammer

On my Holy Paladin I have been both a Flash of Light spec and a Holy Light spec. For the Flash of Light spec you really don't need as much Intellect as you would in the HoL spec, so you are able to get more Spell Power. Right now I am running with about 35k Mana and 3k Spell Power. However, if I had the gold I would definitely switch out some Intellect for SP. If you are FoL then you will want around 30k mana and SP for in all the rest. HoL Paladins will want straight Intellect

There are two types of Holy Paladins, those who spec and gear toward Flash of Light and those who spec and gear toward Holy Light.

Flash of Light Paladins are very efficient; their focus is on beefing up their Flashes and Holy Shock, and thus their gem of choice is the Runed Cardinal Ruby (+23 sp).

Holy Light Paladins are very inefficient; their focus is beefing their mana pool so that they can continuously cast Holy Light, and thus their gem of choice is the Brilliant King's Amber (+20 int).

Holy Light is considered (far) more viable than Flash of Light for ICC, and would thus be what I would recommend.
