Professions advancing more than one point per craft

It was said that professions would be advancing more than one point were you to craft like blue items and such. Has it been scrapped, NYI, or is it me that didn't run into any of those recipes?

Currently, all we know is that this will only be true for Blacksmithing, Leatherworking, and Tailoring.

Superior-quality items that require more materials than other recipes in the same skill range provide multiple skill-ups. For example, if a recipe takes three times the reagents, it will give you three skill-ups.

Though professions past level 450 (Illustrius Grand Master) were not introduced this patch, multiple skill-ups were indeed introduced (confirmed by Spaz in the post above).

Kaliope reported getting some 3-5 point skillups in enchanting from producing weapon enchants (http://kaliope.crafterstome.com/2010/11/cataclysm-enchanting-leveling-guide-450.html). – Dobablo (Nov 26 2010 4:26 AM)

How interesting! Blizzard (to my knowledge) did not state that they were going beyond those initial three professions. – Confidence (Nov 26 2010 9:23 AM)

I think it is exceptions rather than the rule for consumable professions. Flask of Enhancement (http://www.wowhead.com/item=58149) acts in the same way, providing a 5 point jump from 500 to 505 for alchemists. – Dobablo (Nov 29 2010 6:31 AM)

This has not been scrapped yet, in fact, this has already been implemented in the live game. I recently noticed that my rogue, who is at about 200 skill had some items that, when crafted, will give up to 3 skill points.

It does appear that this functionality has been limited to lower level trade skill items, and from what I can tell it is only for primary tradeskills.
